Games for Cash - Sell Console Games

Welcome to Games for Cash - The easy way to sell used and completed console games for the highest cash payments.

Have you got a selection of old console games that you have recently completed or are just sat around your home collecting dust? Why not trade them in for cash or credit to put towards the latest and greatest new releases. Old video games can be worth anything from 25p to £££ so it's well worth digging them out and sending them in.

Help the Environment by Recycling Games

Apart from making you some extra cash there are many other reasons why you should sell your used games and not just throw them in the bin. Every year millions of old video games are thrown in the bin these could actually be worth anything from 25p to £20+. Any old discs that are put in the rubbish will eventually end up at one of Britain's ever expanding landfill sites. As game discs are made up of toxic plastics they will take hundreds of year's to fully break down. Decomposing waste from old games releases dangerous gases into the atmosphere which can contribute to global warning and cause serious damage the environment.

Earn Cash by Trading in Games

The good news is that in the UK there are currently a handful of websites which include Music Magpie, Trade Your Games and Swap Game where you can sell old console games, handheld computer games and console systems for cash or credit. If you are selling and want cash this will be sent to by cheque, bank transfer or Paypal once your used games have been received. If you trade in and accept credit then this can be used to put towards other items from the various trade in websites.

Here at Games for Cash we show you how to sell your used games at the highest cash prices for consoles including the Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP. Facts about Video Games and Consoles

  • More consoles and video games are being thrown in the bin than ever before due to the fast rate at which gaming technology is constantly evolving.

  • Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony all use hazardous materials and chemicals in the manufacturing of their consoles and video games.
  • An old video game is pretty much 100% recyclable
  • Even the heaviest scratches on game discs can be cleaned

Mafia 2

Is this an offer you can’t refuse?

I can’t compare my time spent with Mafia 2 with anything else really. I suppose its similar to G.T.A IV in regards to having a huge open world and even less to do in it apart from looking for wanted posters or Playboy centrefolds. The story itself is fantastic that being said I am a fan of gangster films in general so perhaps my opinion is biased. It almost felt like reading a good book where you just can’t stop turning pages, I always wanted to complete missions to see what happened next in the storyline.

Rage

Doomed gameplay that will make you quake with rage!

The opening sequence of Rage felt a little vague and short perhaps I blinked and missed something but I wasn’t sure what was going on but as soon as i’d inverted the controls and stepped outside I was impressed. The visuals were striking and straight away I was reminded of borderlands albeit a lot more beautiful and interesting post apocalyptic world than that one. After a few moments of enjoying the view I got attacked by something that again reminded me of the enemies in borderlands then got rescued and taken to a local encampment of friendly people. I was extremely impressed with the design of the characters with everyone dressed in unique clothes and accessories.

Bioshock

Get caught in the rapture!

From the crash landing in the middle of the ocean and receiving a radio message asking me to kindly do something for someone to the first few moments in the city of Rapture and the terrifying first encounter with a Big Daddy Bioshock felt like something new and fresh when it first came out on the 360. The game has since been released on PS3 with some extras, most notably the survival mode which for me at least is the way to play the game and drastically reduces the amount of bullets, health and cash that you’ll find throughout the city of Rapture as well as making combat significantly harder.

Dead Space

Watch your back!

The day after I played the demo I had to go out and buy this game I was so impressed with it. I’m a big fan of survival horror type games and I also like sci-fi so for me Dead Space filled a gap. As well as this it was a brand new franchise and I’m always on the lookout for something new and fresh when it comes to gaming.
